My mom, the most creative person I know, got me a pair of navy slip on checkered Vans & colored in the white squares with a variation of colors & metallic Sharpies. I love my pair of unique & colorful Vans because no one else has a pair like them. You can customize SO many different things. I have a pair of Zara high tops that I bought in Barcelona which have recently been revived with adding patches to the sides.
By changing the look of the piece it makes it much more personal and made just for you!
